A team of students from the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK), known as Team Last Dance, won second place in the Web Design Competition category at the CITECH (Carnival Innovation Technology) 2026 event, organized by the Linux and Open Source (LAOS) Student Club, Faculty of Computer Science, University of Jember. The competition’s final round was held in person on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Jember.

The Last Dance team consists of Siti Aminatuzzuhriyah as chairperson, along with two members: Adhitya Hermawan and M. Akhza Fachrozy. All three are students in the Information Systems Program at the Faculty of Science and Information Technology (FSTI), Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK), under the guidance of lecturer Aidil Saputra Kirsan, S.ST., M.Tr.Kom.

In the competition, the Last Dance Team presented a project titled “NeuroMotion AI as an Early Detection and Monitoring System for Neurological Disorders Based on Body Movement Analysis Using Artificial Intelligence.” NeuroMotion AI is a web-based platform that utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Vision technology to analyze body movements through the user’s device camera.

NeuroMotion AI was developed as a solution to help improve access to the pre-screening and monitoring of neurological disorders, particularly those related to changes in movement patterns. The system analyzes a number of movement biomarkers and generates information in the form of analysis results and a Risk Score that can be used as supporting information for users.

In developing the app, the team also focused on accessibility by utilizing the camera on devices users already own. As a result, the initial screening process can be conducted without the need for specialized equipment. The screening results can also serve as preliminary information that users can then bring with them to receive further evaluation from a healthcare professional.

In the final round, the Last Dance team not only presented the concept and background of NeuroMotion AI’s development but also conducted a live demonstration of the website to showcase the user flow and key features that had been developed. The presentation covered the challenges that led to the development, the proposed solutions, the technologies used, the system’s benefits, the results of the implementation, and future development plans for NeuroMotion AI.

CITECH 2026 is a competition in the field of information technology and computer engineering organized by the Linux and Open Source (LAOS) Student Club, Faculty of Computer Science, University of Jember. In the 2026 competition, the Last Dance team advanced to the finals after passing the preliminary round and then competed against finalists from various universities in the Web Design Competition category. The finals took place on August 23, 2026, and determined the competition’s winner.

This achievement adds to the list of accomplishments by students in the Information Systems Program, Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Kalimantan Institute of Technology, in national and regional technology competitions, while also serving as motivation for other students to continue innovating and developing projects in the field of information technology.
