Information Systems focuses on integrating information technology with organizational business processes. Students not only learn programming but also requirements analysis, data management, system design, and the use of technology to support decision-making.

Information Systems emphasizes the use of technology to support business and organizational goals, while Informatics focuses more on developing technology and algorithms. Information Systems students learn both technological and managerial aspects.

Graduates are awarded the degree of Bachelor of Computer Science (S.Kom.).

Graduates can work as System Analysts, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Database Administrators, UI/UX Designers, IT Consultants, Data Analysts, or Entrepreneurs in the technology sector.

Yes, but not as intensively as Informatics students. Information Systems students learn programming as a tool to understand systems and develop technology-based solutions.

Students can refer to the official guidelines provided by ITK and the Information Systems Study Program. Complete information is usually announced at the beginning of each semester during the Open Talk session, which all students are encouraged to attend.

Yes. The internship program is part of the curriculum and can be completed in government institutions, private companies, or technology startups. Announcements and requirements for internships are usually shared through the official website, Instagram accounts (of the program, student association, faculty, or ITK). So, if you are interested in doing an internship during your studies, make sure not to miss these announcements! Additionally, students may also participate in the Magang Berdampak program by the Ministry (Kemdiktisaintek), following the procedures available on its official website.

The Information Systems Student Association (HMSI) is open to all active students. Registration is usually held at the beginning of the new academic year through announcements on the study program’s or HMSI’s social media channels.
